Gayane Ghandilyan is an Associate in our Employment, Business Litigation and Franchise & Distribution Practice Groups. She defends employers in all matters related to harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, as well as wage and hour, and other employment claims. Ms. Ghandilyan’s practice also focuses on general business-related disputes, including those between franchisors and franchisees.
Ms. Ghandilyan earned her Juris Doctor at Southwestern Law School. She received the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Evidence, was a member of the Negotiation Honors Program, and participated in the Energy Law Negotiation Competition in Houston. Ms. Ghandilyan also served as a Teaching Assistant for a Business Associations course and was a member of the Armenian Law Students’ Association.
Earning her Bachelor of Arts in English as well as Russian Language and Literature, Ms. Ghandilyan graduated cum laude from the University of California at Los Angeles. There, she had the opportunity to present one of her theses at the widely attended Annual Conference on Slavic & East/Central European Studies.
Prior to joining Lewitt Hackman, Ms. Ghandilyan worked for other firms in the San Fernando Valley, where she served as plaintiffs’ counsel and law clerk at an employment firm, and as a legal assistant for a workers’ compensation firm. Ms. Ghandilyan’s experience in these areas can now provide strategic and legal insight when defending employers and management.
Ms. Ghandilyan is admitted to practice law in all California state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
