In setting up and operating medical entities, Mr. Lewitt, as Chief Executive Officer, oversaw thousands of employees in facilities globally, such as medical facilities in the United Kingdom, France and Guam; and provided consulting services in the United Emirates.

Mr. Lewitt served as Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of Setco, Inc., a publically held company. After the sale of that company to Hyatt Corporation, he served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Hyatt Medical Enterprises, Inc., and joined the Board of Directors of Hyatt Corporation.

In 1982, Mr. Lewitt became Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Nu-Med, Inc., a healthcare provider public company.

Mr. Lewitt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and his MBA from Kent State University. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Ohio State University Law School in 1954.

He was a member of the State Bars of California and Ohio, and a the American, Los Angeles County, and Beverly Hills Bar Associations. He also also served as a member of the International Hospital Federation; as well as various committees of the Federation of American Hospitals.
