![]() Stephan Mihalovits
Stephan Mihalovits is a Los Angeles business litigation attorney whose practice areas include representing California business owners in financial industry arbitration, equipment contracts, federal trademark registration, intellectual property litigation, franchise law, and employment law. Since joining Lewitt Hackman’s Civil Litigation Practice Group, Mr. Mihalovits has worked with start-up companies, securities investors, small business owners, and others. He obtains damage judgments on behalf of both individuals and companies, and advises business clients regarding various legal requirements – from dealing with government bureaucracy to negotiating favorable lease and purchase agreements. Mr. Mihalovits successfully helps business owners take legal action against employees who defraud their employers, and obtains significant damages awards on behalf of investors deceived by their financial advisors into funneling substantial assets into inappropriate investments. As a business litigation attorney, Mr. Mihalovits advocates forcefully, allowing him to obtain judgments and financial reparations for our clients. Earning his law degree in 2008 from the University of California Los Angeles School of Law, Mr. Mihalovits served as a judicial extern for Justice Steven Z. Perren in the California Court of Appeal. He was also a Staff Editor for the Journal of International Law and Foreign Affairs, and a Writing Advisor to first-year law students. Prior to law school, Mr. Mihalovits received his Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA in 2005, graduating Cum Laude with majors in Political Science and European Studies. Upon graduation, he was awarded membership to The Phi Beta Kappa Society. Mr. Mihalovits served as Co-Director of the Downtown Los Angeles Housing Legal Clinic and participated in various UCLA Law Moot Court Competitions. He joined Lewitt Hackman as a business litigation attorney in 2008.
