Nicole Kamm 



Nicole Kamm is an employment defense attorney and Shareholder at our firm.  She represents employers in a broad range of industries, including healthcare, technology, manufacturing, retail, staffing, food service, real estate, transportation, construction, and professional services.  

Ms. Kamm's employment practice encompasses litigation and dispute resolution, advice and counsel, transactional work, and management training:   

  • Defense of employers and management against individual and class claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, defamation, and wage and hour violations before state and federal courts and administrative agencies; 

  • Advice and counsel on day-to-day management issues, including hiring, discipline and termination decisions, reductions in force, restrictive covenants, trade secret protection, and compliance issues arising under Title VII, the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the California Family Rights Act (CFRA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the California Labor Code and Industrial Welfare Commission wage orders, and the federal and California Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act; 

  • Preparation and review of employment documents, including employment contracts, offer letters, employee handbooks and policies, and separation agreements; 

  • Presentation of trainings on unlawful harassing, discrimination and retaliation, management training, and emerging employment law issues.  

Active in the local business and legal community, Ms. Kamm served as Chair of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association (SFVBA) Employment Law Section from 2012-2014, and currently serves on the SFVBA Board of Trustees. She co-founded Women to Women (W2W), a networking group for dynamic female professionals. 

Ms. Kamm received her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine School of Law in 2006, where she graduated cum laude. She is also a graduate of University of California, Berkeley (B.A., 2000).
