Our practice includes registration and disclosure compliance, assisting in developing new franchise programs and consultation on the range of legal matters affecting franchisors, manufacturers, franchisees, distributors and dealers. Our attorneys David Gurnick and Tal Grinblat are certified by the State Bar of California as Specialists in Franchising and Distribution Law and were among the first lawyers in California to receive this distinction. They have extensive experience preparing and registering Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDD’s), franchise agreements, defending government inquiries and investigations, and in enforcement and defense litigation and alternative dispute resolution. We have also provided expert testimony in litigated franchise law disputes. Our franchise law attorneys are frequent speakers and authors on franchise law topics. We actively participate in the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, the International Franchise Association and the State Bar of California Franchise Law Committee. Among our attorneys is the author of a 500 page treatise on taking and defending depositions in franchise litigation.
